Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the services provided by MAI ("My Automations & Integrations," "we," "us," or "our").

By engaging our services or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

Services Description

MAI provides automation consulting, AI integration, and workflow development services. Our services include but are not limited to:

  • Automation audits and strategy consulting
  • Custom automation and workflow development
  • AI tool integration and implementation
  • System integrations between business applications
  • Ongoing automation management and optimization

AI & Automation Disclaimers

Services provided by MAI incorporate artificial intelligence and automation technologies. By engaging our services, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

  • No Guaranteed Outcomes: Results from automations and AI implementations may vary based on your specific use case, data quality, and business context. We do not guarantee specific outcomes, ROI, or time savings.
  • AI Limitations: AI-generated outputs may contain errors, inaccuracies, or require human review and validation. AI tools are assistive technologies, not replacements for human judgment.
  • Third-Party Dependencies: Automation performance depends on the availability and reliability of third-party platforms (such as Zapier, Make, N8N, Airtable, and others). We are not responsible for outages or changes to these platforms.
  • Client Review Responsibility: You are responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating all deliverables before deploying them in production environments.
  • Data Processing: Your data may be processed by third-party AI providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and others) as part of service delivery. You should review these providers' terms and privacy policies.

MAI is not liable for business decisions made based on AI-generated recommendations or automated outputs.

Client Responsibilities

To ensure successful project delivery, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about your requirements
  • Grant necessary access to systems and tools required for the project
  • Respond to requests for information and approvals in a timely manner
  • Test and validate deliverables within the agreed review period
  • Maintain appropriate backups of your data
  • Ensure you have the right to share data and grant access to systems

Payment Terms

Payment terms will be specified in your project proposal or service agreement:

  • One-time projects typically require a 50% deposit to begin work
  • Retainer services are billed monthly in advance
  • Payment is due within 14 days of invoice unless otherwise agreed
  • Late payments may result in service suspension

Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, you own all custom automations, workflows, and deliverables created specifically for your project.

MAI retains ownership of:

  • Pre-existing frameworks, templates, and methodologies
  • General knowledge and techniques developed during the engagement
  • Tools and systems used to deliver services

Confidentiality

We treat all client information as confidential. We will not share your business information, processes, or data with third parties except as necessary to deliver services (such as with approved subcontractors or platform providers).

We may use anonymized case studies and general project descriptions for marketing purposes, unless you opt out in writing.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • MAI's total liability for any claims arising from services shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the 12 months preceding the claim
  • MAI is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
  • MAI is not liable for lost profits, data loss, or business interruption
  • MAI is not responsible for failures caused by third-party platforms or services

You agree to indemnify MAI against claims arising from your use of deliverables or your violation of these Terms.

Termination

Either party may terminate services:

  • One-time projects: With 14 days written notice. You will be invoiced for work completed.
  • Retainer services: With 30 days written notice before the next billing cycle.
  • Immediate termination: For material breach of these Terms by either party.

Warranties

MAI warrants that services will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner. We provide a 30-day warranty period after delivery to address defects in our work.

Except as expressly stated, services are provided "as is" without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of California.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to active clients. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
